    the forum permissions would be in a seperate table called forumpermissions if you purchase a licence Im sure many users on vBulletin.org would write a quick importer for you if you provide them with a small bit of the cvs file to work from.

    yes: passwords, some forum permissions too, we want to be able to restrict users to certain forums, only one for their courses for example. Would that kind of data live in that table? We are only playing around with vb lite right now, and it doesn't have a user table

    does it contain passwords and if so are they encrypted in anyway?

    You'd need a username and password to import it into the user table and email would also be nice incase they forgot their password

    Hi, we are considering vB for use in our eLearning program, but we've got about 200 users to register...can these users be imported directly into the MySQL table for users from a .csv file?
