  • Can I download another language?

If I buy a second hand license with one language, can I download another language?

German, Spanish, and French languages that we provide for vBulletin 5 can be downloaded in the Member's Area.

Other unsupported third-party languages are available on these forums.

Where can I find the other languages here on the forum?

However only licensed customers can download.

Languages are in alphabetical order. Make sure it matches the version you want to run.

The latest update is version 4.2.0. Does it work on the new vbulletin version?

The language version will only work with whatever version it was created for. A VB 4.2.0 language pack will not work with VB 5.x and shouldn't be attempted to be installed. However if you want to install a VB 4.2.0 language pack on VB 4.2.5 it will install (if you choose to ignore version) and 99% of the content will be translated, but there may be some "outdated phrases" that need manual translation. You can find these by going to the Admin CP -> Languages & Phrases -> Find Outdated Phrases.

Why do I get notifications for threads that I haven't responded to? I have unchecked and do not see threads I have not written in but still I get it. Is this how vBulletin works?

To get support you must be a licensed customer. Please add your email address you used to register on these forums to the Priority Forum Support list in the Member's Area at https://members.vbulletin.com and within an hour you will be verified and able to post an an appropriate support forum.

As for "is this how vBulletin works" - only if it is setup that way. You don't need to get notifications of every post.
