There is no official Discus import script. I don't think there's an unofficial one at vbulletin.org either, but you can make a request for one.

What's the official status of the Ikonboard 3.0 Importer at this point?

What doesn't work yet?

I've been waiting for this importer since March, so is this goal attainable or not?

I am already using a purchased copy of vBulletin and will buying another copy when this importer is bullet proofed.

If I'm gonna purchase vbulletin I really need a phpbb 2 importer so how is the status of that one? is the beta available for download yet also and if so how good does it work?

There is a hack importer available over at vbulletin.org. From the messages I've read it sounds like it's working well.

Hi, I'm currently using UBB.x. I see import tools for other UBB products, but no mention of UBB.x, which I understand is a slightly different animal. Is it possible for me to import UBB.x into vBulletin?

I believe UBB.x has the same data output format as Opentopic, in which case we do have an importer.

The InfoPop folks told me the database schema is the same. Is this what you mean? So this means I can import using your OpenTopic importer?

So do I need to backup the mySQL files from their server? What do I need to do? What data do I need to make sure I have on my PC in order to have my BBS down for as a short a period of time as possible?

thcehcs: Does UBB.x allow you to export your data into an XML format? Out OpenTopic importer works by taking the XML exported database from OT and importing it - if UBB.x doesn't allow this then it will be impossible to do the import using our existing scripts.

Please send me an email at [email protected] and we can try to get your forum imported. It may be that we need to develop an import script for UBB.x, in which case it will take up to a couple of weeks to be ready. But if you email me we can work it out.

vB import scripts exist for the following programs:

Infopop Ultimate Bulletin Board 5, Infopop Ultimate Bulletin Board 6.0, 6.1 and 6.2, Infopop UBBThreads 5.4 (formely wwwthreads), vBulletin Lite, Infopop OpenTopic/UBB.x, Ikonboard 2, Ikonboard 3, phpBB2, ezboard (posts only, not members for ezboard).

Unofficial importers for UB2k (Ultraboard) are available from vBulletin.org.

How complete is the iB3 importer? Can it convert both the posts and the members?
