  • Importing from other products into vBulletin (Updated 13 July)

vBulletin currently offers import scripts to enable you to transfer data from the following products:
    • Infopop UBB.Classic 5.x
    • Infopop UBB.Classic 6.0 - 6.3
    • Infopop UBB.Threads 5 / WWWThreads
    • Infopop OpenTopic
    • Coolboard
    • Ezboard
    • Ikonboard 2.x
    • Jelsoft vBulletin Lite
    • phpBB 2
    • DCForum 6.x

You can download a ZIP package of these scripts from the Members Area at any time.

At the moment, import scripts are in development or beta testing for the following products:
    • Ikonboard 3.x
    • Jelsoft vBulletin 2.2.x
    • XMB 1.6 / DevBB 1.1

If you would like to be involved in beta testing for any of the scripts currently in development, please contact our sales team. You can also download some beta scripts from the Members Area.

Please feel free to request that importers be created for other products, but remember that we can only dedicate the development time to a new importer that will be used by a reasonable number of customers. We always listen to your suggestions and will try to help as best we can.

    Infopop Ultimate Bulletin Board 6.2.x

    Ikonboard 3.x
Ok I know that this issue has been discussed many times but I'm going to ask it again. When will the import script for Ikonboard 3 be available? Could you please give us a prediction? In the next week, month, ... what?

I would expect it to be available in the next week, but as always I can't promise. I can send you a beta copy if you would like.

        Clearing things up.

        Very nice JamesUS,
this thread will be a nice reference point to direct questions too! There seem to be a lot of questions about importing in the pre-sales forum, hope this clears things up for those users.

James, not to be a pain, but I emailed you for the beta copy to test.

I really want to take the infopop board down.

Please email it to me so I can get moved to VB.

I did send out the UBB importers a day or two ago - if you haven't received yours please tell me so that I can re-send it.

I will do the Ikonboard ones today.

Any news from iB3 import script? I had read that it'll be released this week but nothing yet. Can anyone tell us when will be ready please?

P.S IBForums is ready! With iB3 converter! You guys from VB, do something for the iB3 converter, many users will move to IBF!

Where exactly do you see this? I can't find mention of even a beta release anywhere on the IBForums site.

It was an EZBoard like service that shut down a while back.
