I'm in the process of setting up a gaming community, I've tried Joomla amd wordpress and can't get on with either. I remember using vbulletin for one of my clan websites a few years back.. I've got a few questions.

1. I understand you are not allowed 3rd party styles, have you got a list of pre installed styles? Also if the pre installed styles aren't to my desire, can you install a different style for a small fee?

2. Is there a portal available for front page? To display and announce news and content box to display widgets or information on one or both sides.

3. Domain - are we allowed to use our own domain?

1) You can see each available theme by selecting them from the Style Chooser on the bottom left of pages on this site. The same themes are available on vBCloud. We cannot install any 3rd party style but you further customize with custom CSS or editing Style Variables.

2) You can use the built in Site Builder tool to create a new page and add custom modules to it to create a "portal" page.

3) Yes, you will need to create a CNAME record to point a sub-domain to your cloud site. Common sub-domains are like "www" or "forum" so your address might be forum.domain.com. Most proper domain registars allow CANMEs (like GoDaddy) but we have had reports of some people who purchase domains via smaller web hosts that they were unable to create CNAME records.
