I do not know what I need to buy VB4 Suite or vBulletin 5 Connect + Mobile Suite Bundle

Hello, sorry for my bad english.

Now I have vBulletin® Version 4.2.0, I want to install "Bulletin Mobile Suite - NEED Responsive Web Design" and "Blog"
I understand that I need to get a new license, I don't know what version need me for that there was something that I need.

Question 1: If I buy license - "vBulletin 5 Connect + Mobile Suite Bundle" I will get? Bulletin Mobile Suite and Blog for my Version 4.2.0.
Or
Need buy separated - vBulletin 4.2 Publishing Suite and vBulletin Mobile Suite ?


Question 2: To insert the Blogs and responsive mobile version, necessarily need upgrade my vBulletin® Version 4.2.0 to vBulletin 4.2 Publishing Suite or i can setup this on my old version ?

Hello,

The license currently tied to the account you are posting from is a VB5 license. That means you can and probably should upgrade to VB 4.2.3 as soon as possible.

Please note Responsive Design is not possible in the VB 4.x product. Responsive Design is a term used to describe styles that automatically resize and re-arrange themselves based on the screen size of the device they are being viewed with. Responsive Design is only possible in the VB 5.x line.

You can upgrade your site to VB 5.1.8 at anytime, you already own a VB5 license. Once on VB5 you will have a responsive style.

Both VB 4.2.3 and VB 5.1.8 have blogs available, you can use them on either version.

VB 4.2.x has a built in Mobile Style, this is different than the Responsive Style in VB5 but it is enough to keep Google happy that your site has a workable mobile style for mobile devices.

The Mobile Suite is an additional purchase for VB4 or VB5 that will allow you to have "apps" in the Google Play and Apple app stores. These are optional for admins who want to have an app store presence.
