  • Can you add more space before the first displayed line?

In looking through many posts here, I don't like (visually) how the first line of the post is tight up next to the top of the text display area. I would like to be able to shift it down a little or something like that. I tried putting in a hard return in some of my posts, but it gets removed.

The problem with the first line being up tight like that is that I (and I would assume others) tend to skip over it accidentally in skimming for the start of the text if the first line is a single line.

Has anyone else noticed this or am I alone?

If you have a Subject line, then you get a space

This is the line I'm talking about.

Actually I've never seen this brought up before. You should be able to change this with a slight modification to one of the postbit templates.

That's good, as long as it can be fixed it isn't a problem.

Although I do wonder why a leading hard return is always cut out?
