I want to know

i have around 20 domains that will have there own forums that will be almost identical for each differnt city

can i buy a 1 licence for all 20 forums or must i buy individually

in terms of having a hosting these what kind of server do i require

secondly and most important cat i hire someone to build these forums.

How do you mean 'almost identical'?

Basically, if each forum appears to be unique, then you need 20 licenses. If every domain just redirects to the same installation, and all look the same when they get there, 1 license.

As you described I believe you would need 20 licences...

That would be if say newyorkcity.com looks just like boston.com but they have different threads, forums, and users.

If newyorkcity.com and boston.com both forward to say allcities.com and "new york" is one sub-forum, and "boston" is a second sub-forum you can have just 1 license.

And of course you can hire someone to do the work for you, but we (vBulletin) only provide a basic installation service- customizing the site you would have to purchase from elsewhere, we do not have any recommendation for that.
