Vbulletin Cookies and UK Law

A law came into effect on May 26th 2012 in the UK stating that users must be informed on what cookies are placed on their computer.

In order to put a warning on my site, can you tell me please does vBulletin place tracking cookies or are the cookies only remembering login details.

Is there anything we should know about the cookies vBulletin forums place on users computers so we can comply with this legislation?

P.S. I have no idea which section a question like this belongs, so apologies.
