Upgrade from 3.8.5

Hi,

We currently run vBulletin 3.8.5 so an oldish version. I am thinking about upgrading to vB 4.

What are difference between these? I am guessing skins will need updating etc and what is it like for admin and mod cp.

Just wondering if anyone could shine some light to see if its worth upgrading.

3.8.5 is a very old version and it contains several known security issues. That said, the differences between the version you are running and the current stable version are numerous, starting from security to new features and options. You are right about skins that will need updating, the same goes for the mods as well.

Personally I would advice you to upgrade a.s.a.p.
