Ok heres the problem. The files I had seem to work fine when restored. Everything seems to work. But when I copy the legit files over there is this problem with not being able to access the admin cp and it will show you as logged in and even give you a number of pm's available to you but when you click on pms you get a white screen and some complex error message. And trying to log in the panel is like a loop. The only thing I am not copying over is the images folder cause I don't wanna lose my unique smiley set or graphics essential to my forum. I have tryed every option available to the tools php file and nothing worked. I have looked over the config php and it all seems good and it doesn't matter if I use my old "nulled" one or the correct one. Something else is changing something in the new files when they're uploaded. I can't figure out what this is but I wanna have the right files on here. I honestly don't want to start over for several reasons. Can anyone help me? I have read many other similar post here but I need something much more specific info wise then just copy new files. I wanna keep the images folder I have but if you think thats the problem I can get maybe get more selective in the copy process.

Didn't really help too much. I have narrowed it down to a few things...and I will describe each in further detail......admin cp folder, this creates the looping problem I mentioned and not logging into the adminCP. I then try and use tools.php to reset the cookie cache and the other cookie option as suggested here for similar problems. That doesnt help. But when I bring back my old files for the root of the folder that fixes it......The other trouble folders are includes and packages. Trying to use the real versions of these folders and contents seem to result in various errors in the site breaking the site basically....Fatal Error of Vb attachment store vblog permissions must be compatible.....something something... Also something in the overall root files also introduces errors. Ok where do you think I should go from here? Also could you please elaborate more on the my htaccess thing and how it could be effecting me? That sounds like something in your host cpanel.

I think what Mitzy means is check your htaccess for something that might be causing an issue. You might do that by simply renaming the (hidden dot file) .htaccess to htaccess.txt If there was something in it, preventing you from opening these pages, that would disable this file and let you in.
