...but when I click the purchase link, it tells me to log in. ok, so, I put in my login information, submit it and it tells me its wrong/invalid. when I click the link to reset my password, I don't get the email, yet I got the email to activate my account.

Please tell me I am doing something wrong and that this thing is not so broken I cant even buy a vb 5 connect licence.

The ordering area, uses a completely separate login from the forums.

The vBulletin Forum Account (to which you are logged in) is completely separate from the vBulletin Customer Account used when purchasing a license. As you are not an existing customer you do not have a customer account- please do not try to log in, simply complete the purchase without logging in. A new customer account will be created for you upon purchase. You will be emailed a customer number and password from which you can access your customer account.

I was not able to see any posts in this thread but when looking at the forum index, I could see it was posted in. I clicked on your name Joe and was able to see your reply from there. Seems like an odd way for me to have to get to your reply.

I did as you said and completed my purchase, thank you for the help.
