  • How can I do to have the vb 5 translated in Italian?

I would like to know if there is the tradition of the Italian vb 5 and if it was not ready in time what will dispobile.

I say this because I'm going to buy a license.

Thanks for the responses that follow

We don't have a translation at this time. You can translate each phrase to fit your needs though.

Currently the following official translations are available for vB 5:
                • German
                • French
                • Spanish

I doubt there will be an official Italian translation any time soon. However there is a user-made language pack available for vB 5.1.0. This is the most recent one I was able to find, but obviously it is a bit outdated because it was done for an older version of vB 5 (the most recent one is 5.1.3) and I have no idea about the quality of that pack:

If you install the 5.1.0 language, after you do s go to Admin CP > Languages & Phrases > Find Updated Phrases and you will need to provide new/updated translations for any new or changed phrases. This is something you should do every time you upgrade the forum when you have a non-official language pack.
