Reading between the lines of this response "...supposed to be applied.." then I'm guessing that when the software gets to a stage where it works consistently responsive design is something that should work for the end users viewing the site(s) using vB5 connect to make their contributions and read what's on there, but won't work for the admins running the site(s) although in any case this won't matter because in many cases they'll be working using PC or Mac desktops.

That being the case, all that I'd need is the calendar, plus the CMS replacement or a viable alternative, for me to want to try it.

To test for more real mobile/tablet screen sizes using desktop, you can try Firefox's built-in Responsive Design View (Firefox > Web Developer > Responsive Design View) or CTRL+Shift+M.

  • What responsive design features does vBulletin 5 Connect have and how do they work?

I haven't upgraded from vBulletin 4 to vBulletin 5 yet but I'm interested to know what responsive design features vBulletin 5 connect has and how they work (by this I mean specifically features that allow the site to automatically adapt to being viewed on a PC, phone or tablet, without users having to be diverted to a separate mobile site for mobiles/tablets).
