  • Multiple domains, only one install?

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum and it belongs in the tech support forum, I was unsure where it 'fit' under as this is a question I imagine some may have prior to purchasing the vBulletin software as well as one they may ask after.

In my own case I am building a website for an offroading group, and they have several domains, ex: canadian-offroad, ottawa-jeep-club, etc. These would all be pointed to the same install of vBulletin, however I am unsure about whether or not this is allowed under the license?

Just to clarify: these are not seperate sites. They would be pointing to the same account on the same server using the same nameservers. It would be a single install of vBulletin.

You can point as many you wish.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

Provided it's only one installation of the vBulletin files, as beishe says, you can have as many domains pointing to them as you wish.
      Vote for:

      - *Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe*
*PM - Add ability to reply to originator only*
      - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s)
      - "Quick Route" Interface...
