Referer question

I am planning on setting up a vBulletin with one forum for members of a physical organization, see my Group Membership thread for more info. I don't know everyone in this organization and I would like to have new group members added to the group automatically. I was reading the online manual and wondered if I could use the Referer feature to do this. e.g. If Sally refers Bob he would be added to the group automatically.

You currently can't do that without hacking. It's an interesting idea though!
