Why vBulletin?

I was wondering, why do you guys choose vBulletin over the other guys?

There are some other free boards that are pretty powerful, with similar looks and features, so why this?

i just reopened my forum after 1 week closure for server software upgrades....

There is a generally accepted way for a board like this to work, and it just so happens that UBB looks like it. However so do the multitude of other forum products available.
