  • Migration from UBB 6.5 to vBulletin

    Hello,

I have a client that is using UBB 6.5.

    1) Can he integrate ( with all his current data ) to the latest version of vBulletin?

    2) If so, and it would require additional custom work.. can anyone recommended someone?

    3) He would also like to change to host provider with expertise with vBulletin.

    4) If migration is NOT a good idea please include your ideas?

    Thanks

Hello, thanks for the response. He is using the Threads version.

          This appears to be supported.

Would there be an option to do this in the set-up area?

I did find the support for the installation option.

Also, is there a hosted option? Or a recommendation? He'd like
to be kept aware of updates and any patches that night become available.
At the moment he's on a GoDaddy hosted plan.

What you do is install vB, then install Impex to vB. Sfter that you run the appropriate import module to import that data.
