  • Dragonfly-to-vBulletin Migration

    I want to migrate my website from DragonflyCMS v9.2.1 to vBulletin v4.x

    1. I have large forum with approx 9000 site members. Does vBulletin have a script to migrate Dragonfly: User Profiles, Forum Threads, User Blogs and User Photo Gallery?

    2. How do I deal with the inbound links from external websites or from the internal forum threads?

    3. I don’t want to loose any Indexed pages being reference by the search engines. What is the best suggested migration strategy for this?

    1. We have this script:

    dragonfly
    Tier = 2
    Source version support in ImpEx = 9.2.1
    • Import usergroup
    • Import user
    • Import forum
    • Import thread
    • Import post
    • Import Private messages

    2. Not sure what you mean but all forum links will change. We do not provide an officially supported option to redirect the old URL's to the new ones, but there is this unsupported script:

    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176964

    3. See #2.
