  • Can a license still be used if you rename/move your forum?

I didn't see anything in the terms of service on this, so I needed to ask.

The license is good for one install, on one domain.
What if that domain/website name changes and the forum is no longer on the old one?

An example of this would be a political forum - where whatever issue of the way is the name of the domain/website. When the issue passes, I'd want to rename the forum (keeping all the messages/users/etc) and switch where it's pointed to (issue #2) - leaving a redirect at the old *****.com (Issue #1)
It's not switching servers, or doing another install.

Is this allowed under the terms of the license?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can change the location of your vBulletin forums just as long as you are only running one copy at a time.

Be sure to update the forum URL in the Members Area under 'License Options':
