Banners in CMS

Hi

I'm a forum admin (4 years) progressing from using PHPbb to SMF. Technically I'm a dinosaur but am considering Vbulletin.

Question: Can I use banners (450px 70px) instead of pictures in CMS ??

Question: Can said banners be supported in CMS if they are gif ??

Do you mean you want to put a banner on the CMS page somewhere? Do you have an image of what you are asking? You may create widgets that just are banners and then put them on your CMS pages, if that is what you are asking.

So, you want to put an advertising banner only on the CMS pages? There is an Advertising tab where you can Manage Ads and you can use it to put an ad at the top of your CMS pages.

may I continue for the asking, how to put the banner to the cms content,
I have create a layout side bar on the right for the banner, so it ( 2 column and 1 sidebar )
and how to add into it ? i use widget static_html I create name banner_sample
if only put a html code it will shown on the that sidebar
but when i cread ads in ads manager, the page only shown for blog and forum there no cms
