How to hide [CODE] from unregistered users and new topic predefined text

I want to purchase vbulletin, but I would like to ask if it has the ability to do the following things because they are very important for me.

1. Is it possible to hide the contents between the

...

tags for unregistered users ?

2. Depending on the forum category the user is on, when he clicks on the "Post new thread" button, is it possible to insert predefined text in the new Post body like:

Date: <Enter the date here>
File Size: <Enter the file size here>
Description: <Enter short description here>

I found a mod for hiding the [CODE] tag and other things at vbulletin.org.

I could no find a mod to insert a predefined text. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure exactly how that predefined text is defined, but there is no reason you can't add some hidden fields to the newthread form and then do *something* with that information. I don't know if it needs to get saved with the thread or not, but if so, you'd just have to add some new fields to the thread table for them.

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Search for something called the Stencil Mod (or Hack, or something like that). It should do what you want.
