        It's just advertising...

        Because you are getting The CMS, Forum, Blogs, Ticket Support etc. I don't know how they put values to all of that, but the cost YOU pay is $285. Bottom line...

              And why on site at the bottom says "Powered by vBulletin ™ Version 4.1.1", not "Powered by vBulletin ™ Suite Version 4.0", because this site and not a forum?

                  In this case indicates the version of the forum, not Suite.
                  Then write would have been simply "Powered by vBulletin ™".
