Migration from Community Server 2007

Hi,
There have been a few people asking this recently and the answer is that: As of right now, the only version supported by the vBulletin ImpEx tool is Community Server 2.1
Others that have asked this have hit a dead end (so far) based on the previous threads. To be updated... -
I checked the latest copy of ImpEx from the members area and it says Community Server 2.1 in the script. If the data structure hasn't changed between that version and yours, then it would probably work. However, given the large difference in version numbers, I'm fairly sure you would run into some problems. To be updated...Comment

Well, one clever person fixed some of the problems with this IMPEX but sadly, the benefits were never incorporated into the CS to vB IMPEX. Success converting Community Server to vBulletin. His contact info and email are here. I need to convert my old CS to vB as well.Comment

I see there are two methods of Authenticating users in SQL 2008.
Windows Authentication
SQL Server Authentication
I take it that these scripts need SQL Server Authentication.
It seems for SQL Server Authentication, you need a Windows Server OS, as that method of connecting is only on windows OSes.Comment

by FBlack-HPathImpex seems to say it does not currently work with vB5.0.5 and I couldn't find info in the JIRA area on when it might be expected to work (forgive me if I missed it.) Is it expected to work again?...
