We could release 5,000 versions between now and vB5. Each versions that is released is numbered: For example in vB3.0.x days we had vB 3.0.0 3.0.1 ... 3.0.15 3.0.16. 3.0.17.

Just because we reach 4.1.9 doesn't mean that the software becomes 4.2.0. It also doesn't mean that 4.9.9 would become 5.0. It would become 4.9.10 or even 4.10.0.

The amount of versions between now and vB5 is irrelevant. Only version 5 will be version 5.
