Maintenance pack question

If i purchase this will i have access to vb4 or just the latest version of vb3 ?

My owned licence expired whilst on vb3

Yes, you would get the latest 4.x right now and for the next three months. But after that, you will not get any upgrades.

With a maintainance pack, as of december 2010, you get access to:
- all v3 (minus blogs. vBS still refuses to allow people to get them apparently)
- all v4 versions released before the 3 months of maintainance pack expires. That means you could grab yourself 4.1 and a few future releases for pretty much only the cost of a regular support update fee under the old licencing system.

This is at least valid for Forum (vB without protject tools or blogs), not sure about Suite.

For people who purchased the maintainance pack early before 4.1's release, I believe I've read somewhere from Adrian -from customer section?- that raising a ticket could have the maintainance timeframe for access to updates extended (probably not as a rule as it seems vague wether the pack is purchasable only once, but an appreciable commercial gesture to those extending expired v3 licences to consider adoption of v4).

It is only purchasable once.

The extension was to allow people to get the latest 3.8, as it came out over 3 months after the time this option was introduced.
