    Skins?

Ive looked over a lot of VB forums and actually noticed the skins for 3.8.5 look so much better.

Is there any way a skin can be adapted? I looked over vbstyles.com and the 4.x skins look so much worse.

    No,they cannot be adapted.
They have to be designed and created similar to 3.x

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

          It will work??

You can download and install vB 3.8.x with a vB4 license.

Oooh, so once you buy the license and you continue, you get some sort of screen where you can choose what VB version you can download?

Cause I definately want the 3.8.5 with those lovely skins!

Yes, you can download and install earlier versions if you want.

I would highly recommend you to start your site with vb4.x.x Hire a designer if themes are that much important to you...

Ive been on a lot of 3.8.6 forums and they seem to meet all requirements i want, and the themes are lovely, so I'm going to do it this way

                    thanks though
