    Plannin to purchase

I have a few questions, and would like to know before I purchase the board. We are currently running an anime forums (its new, a year old) and we have around 100 members. We are using a free forum software known as (Zetaboard) and it isn't giving us what we want now (as we are expanding, there is more to test and more to do but as its a free forum software we can't expect much of it)

    Now, my questions:

1 - I have looked up web-hosts, and came across the Go-Daddy's plan (which is costly, can someone suggest me another host with unlimited mysql space?) its coming up to $340 for 4 years of hosting. I live in India so after converting is sums up to 15k.

Can first someone check if their web-hosting
    (Unlimited Space+ & Bandwidth!
    1000 Email Accounts2
Unlimited MySQL Databases) Ultimate plan can work with Vbulletin?

2 - Can I shift my posts/topics from my old Zetaboard forums to the new vbulletin forum? (We have close to 13k posts)

3 - Will I get support (as I'd be a newbie) when I purchase Vbulletin as I'm known with html, css but of course I'd need some clarifications

4 - Suggest me a way (mostly web-host) that I don't spend up 25k INR (With webhost and vbulletin)

Thanks in advance And I will surely be purchasing Vbulletin as its a promising software and I'm also using the demo now!

Hostgator could be more cost-effective for what you get. PHP is somewhat slow at godaddy compared to most hosts I've read about.

Between hatchling and baby plans, unlimited domain names are the main difference.
Shared hosting should suffice. If you outgrow it, you can have any remaining credits going to the VPS hosting.

Hostgator has a few discount coupons you can enter, I believe.

For 3 years of hosting (discount coupon reductions not included):
hatchling: 5$/month (for 3 years, that makes 180$)
baby: 8$/month (for 3 years, that makes around 280$)

I have decided to go ahead with bluehost. I found it reasonable and they provide 3 gb of MySQL space. For all I know and I read that should be enough? Can someone tell me how much mysql space I will need?

I am going to be buying bluehosts 24 month package and the vbulletin today or tomorrow.

I can't edit my last post coz I cannot see it lol. But I am loving vbulletin! I would be very confused in the first few weeks hope I can solve it all out

Overselling. You'd be forced to move to expensive dedicaced hosting if your database reached such a size. There's more to hosting than size and bandwidth.

You mean to say if I surpass the 3gb limited I have to shift to dedicated hosts? Oh well it will take time to reach that much right? Anyways thanks for the help. I decide to change my host anyways, who provided unlimited mysql space
