    One userbase multiple sites

I have a project where I will be having 12 diferent community sites with their own domains, but they are still kind of tied together, I just want the sites to have their own forum, blog and CMS, but they should share their userdatabase so users can post on all sites with the same profile.

I belive I have read about this being possible in vbulletin 4.x.x, so I could do this with 12 vBulletin licenses but where the userdatabase is only located on on of the sites. Can anyone confirm that this will be possible with 4.1 or any soon version or if this was just and idea someone was talking about.

I have just read "What's To Come For vBulletin!!" part 1-3, plus some other threads with the same question in the forum, and I guess I found the answer which is "no or not soon".

So feel free to remove my question again, sorry for the inconvenience

There is an add-on on vbulletin.org that does just that it should work for vBulletin 4 but you need to test it. Also make sure you read multiple sites and licenses.
