I've got an owned license that expired in 2009.

I've been away for a long time, is it still renewable? (Not on this account)
I just want to use the version I had before, not update to 4.0+

Reason for this, is I don't have cash for a new copy.

This is probably the wrong place, but I can't post anywhere else.

We have a maintenance option for this circumstance:

To access this option, log into the members area here:

Click on the 'Upgrade/Renew' for our vB 3.x license. Choose the '3.x - 3 months Maintenance Pack' option, then click on 'Continue and follow the rest of the instructions to complete this purchase.

Wait, is this just one payment or a keep on paying type thing? If it's an owned license purchased, doesn't that mean it can be used forever? Why are you charging more, if it's ours?

The the '3.x - 3 months Maintenance Pack' option is for people that have an owned license and want to have access to version 3.8.7 if you are happy with the version that you have now and is an owned license you do not need to renew. If you cant access your account contact [email protected] and provide as much info about the account so that they can look it up.

It's a one-off payment to get access to later version of 3.8.x without having to upgrade to vB4. It's a similar idea to the previous License Renewal scheme that existed in vB3.
