I think the professional install service costs 150 dollars.

To convert to vB is very easy. You can do so using the Impex system.

Hi all, I've got a question about this topic:

I'm the admin of a phpBB3 forum (~3000 users, tons of posts). Recently I had a problem with the search tool in my phbb3 forum, word index table was way too large (more than 400mb) and was causing "overload" in the server (shared hosting) so I had to disable that feature. This is a common issue in phpBB3 forums, and the only (and temporary) solution to keep search feature is to migrate to a dedicated server.
So, will this happen with vBulletin? Any comments about this?

      Thanks in advance

            Hi xeleon,

Vbulletin is optimized to host any size community. The software powers some of the largest forums on the web.
