  • Pondering A Shop

    Hello everyone.

I was considering purchasing vBulletin to run my own shop. The shop would be for selling Cards, Posters etc. However the items are purchased for home printing on the card side.

Is the vBulleting sofware able to offer such customization to say take a % of designer sales, allow designer control panels with features such as - Upload New Image or Craft Kits ( Zip ), Edit / Delete Prints, Edit & Resubmit Print in a Quarantine Area, A Quarantine area, Add, Edit Personal Profile, View " Ask Our Designers Questions Area ", An Area To Submit Questions for Designers, An Idea Zone, Designer Order Reports, Commission Reports, View Last Number of Items Sold, Open Support Tickets, View Latest Keywords, Submit Card Gallery Item, Area for Crafters to upload cards they have made, Affiliate Scheme to pay cash per clicks.

I know most of these are included as I have read over the main website, perhaps a e-commerce package is more along the lines of where I should be looking. But I really wanted to as here first after using the vBulletin software for years for gaming guilds and never being dissapointed.

If not perhaps someone could point me to a e-commerce platform which would best benefit me.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

No vBulletin does not have a shopping cart by default, there addons that can give that function but i don't know of any mod that allows % payouts. You can take a look on for more addon information and custom addons.

VBulletin is forum and more recently blog software, it is not intended to offer commercial products and services... While anything is possible with enough know-how and/or budget you'd probably be better off customizing some other software to your needs then vBulletin.
