(Seriously though, why would they even allow people to give out coupon codes on the public forums? The discount may as well be hardcoded into the sale price.)

You can't just have a discount when you want to. The coupon code box is optional and doesn't mean that there are coupons available.

Consider a used licence instead then, their value has been devaluated enough you should find them very inexpensive in compareason.
