You could add a pointer to the page with a language command, Example:
This forum (vBulletin) has two language options: 1 = English & 3 = Right to Left
If I set my favorites bookmark to this address: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/index.php?&langid=3 -- I would get the Right to Left Language. I have it set to: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/index.php?&langid=1 -- This would give me the English version.
So, for your uk.myforum.com default page you could add the ?&langid=X command to go to your English page and vice versa for your German page.
Your langid numbers would possibly be different, so adjust accordingly.
Good Luck.
