  • Goodbye vBulletin...

Okay so around 4 hours ago I purchased vBulletin using Paypal and INSTANT transfer. The money has left my Paypal and I have nothing to show for it but a Paypal receipt...

So. A Paypal receipt cost me $195? Since when did vB fail so hard at a good customer relationship. My paypal has now been disputed as I still have yet to receive my software and I will be fighting for my money back due to a BAD service.

    1. I am a client
    2. I just spent $195
    3. When did vB stop CARING
    4. 3 Other vB licenses... I'll now happily SWAP them for IPB
    5. Very sad by this turn of events. I have been a long time and LOYAL customer of vBulletin since the 3.6 days. Obviously this doesn't matter for anything any more as vBulletin is happy to TAKE $195 off me for no result.
    6. I have left a ticket, 4 hours no response. IF, and I don't use that lightly, IF you want to keep me as a client as I have been for so long and I have happily given you money for a GOOD service, I would suggest you get on this matter ASAP.

Poor effort vBulletin. Unless you can somewow plead your case to me or actually allow me to log in and download WHAT I PAID FOR.. If not, I'll be getting my money back from Paypal.

    Lol... 4 hours....

You realize IPB takes at least 24 hours to give you access to their stuff after purchase. Im sure vB will give you access shortly.

And lyke OMG 3.6 srsly? Wow, you are so cool

Not the point the man Pays for more than 1 license. there use to be a time when you got it as soon as you purchased it. VB is getting ridicules how about showing someone who spends more money then you guys some respect.

          Thanks AmG

And to all the others who responded. You now make me want to throw vB in the bin. If you think you are smart replying like you did what you have done is pretty much DIMINISHED every chance of me really actually getting vBulletin... Fanboys... Gotta love em!

What does it have to do with sensibility? I paid $195 dollars.

3.6 Yes, I'm showing that I have been a LOYAL customer for so long. I could have bought IPB when it got cheaper than vB but I chose to stick with vB because everyone affiliated with the software were nice people... Pfft what a "Judge a book by it's cover" routine.

vB you can thank these people.

So you are leaving vbulletin because you didn''t get a response to your ticket in 4 hours? Don''t you think you are being a bit over dramatic? If you think that you will get faster response at Ipb, then you will be in for a big surprise. You should try and be a little bit more patient because the Vb staff are busy and I am sure that they will get back to your ticket as soon as possible. They have put an announcment in read at the Client Area which says:

Please note we are experiencing an extremely high volume of support requests and we will respond to all tickets as soon as possible.

And I am not a vb fanboy but I call things how I see them.

You're leaving vB just because you didn't get an answer to your ticket? Stop being so melodramatic and pay attention to red warning messages.

just lol, it's all I have to say.
That's it. If you REALLY can't say ANYTHING nice to me at all on this forum, then I am going to go insanely mad at you. I've had enough of the UNTOLD ABUSE you are all giving me and you should really be CONSIDERATE of other people.

No, all I'm saying is simple.

I paid for software. I didn't get it. No Credit Cards waiting for approval. Instant Paypal Transfer. I have never waited longer than 5-10 minutes to receive customer information to sign in. Why am is it that I bought and paid for the software: 24 Mar 2010 16:11:33 AEDT and it is now 25 Mar 2010 00:00:36 yet I'm still not installed and running?

This is what I'm saying. And no, I don't see you as a fanboy for what you said. Cheers for having your view

As of now, I am now in talking with staff to find out what has happened.

                Edit---

I don't know why you replied.... Maybe read what I said in the first post. It's not a ticket I'm leaving for... It's not getting software I paid for....

                FML!

                Re-Edit....

It's hard to see the Red Message you talk about when you don't have access to the actual customer section... Before you ask.. It was a guest message...

                FML.....

As mentioned, most of the staff are on the bug squash and fixing issues, so maybe they didn't see your payment.

Okay so maybe since vB4 and the new layout payment things have changed. I have bought leased vB's on 5 other occasions and have had the forums up and running on site within half hour of payments.

I'm sorry if this is the case. I don't understand why instant PP transfer needs to be verified and Manually registered.

[email protected] Homeworld'sa: I was posting while you posted so I didn't get to read.. Refer to above post edits.

God you're a balloon, when you purchase the software it says it can take up to 24 hours to recieve your login details.

It says 24 hours for a MetaCharge payment.. Not INSTANT paypal transfer. It's called Inatant for a reason.

Do people actually read whole threads before posting in them or vBulletin customer forums just like any other troll fest out there..

HAHA Troll Fest Forum of the Week. Blow me up and Pop me.

                          Edit

and these forums are for "customer support". The people I'm passing the link to this thread, are having a good ol' LOL at what "Real Support Forums" are.

In that case, try to send an email to the sales department. They are usually very fast and helpful in their replies.

As I have also said in an above post. I'm in speaking with them now.
