Vbulletin is pretty secure. If/when a security vulneribity becomes known, the developers release a new patch almost immediately.

Well, I have to stress that your site is only as ever secure as the server that it's on.

Most forum software are secure, so I really don't think that vBulletin can really be the strongest, until it is reviewed by an external body.

vBulletin Solutions doesn't recommend any hosts, and all of my forum sites are hosted on a dedicated server.

I know some people are hosted with Radon Systems, URLJet and others, including asmallorange, but I've never heard of charlottezweb.com. The best place to find hosting would be webhostingtalk.com

Hawkhost.com is another great company to be hosted from, And the chances of you getting hacked is very slim.

Right.. so you have just completely spammed a topic where someone is looking for advice with testing stuff?

Most likely just an automated bot replying with gibberish.

                          Madhumati is a garbage post/spammer.

I would ignore this person claiming he is going to "hack" your forum or computer. As long as you are running a good web browser (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, basically anything but IE) and your computer is secure, then he's pulling your leg. My strongest suggestion is if a message comes up telling you your computer is "infected" and needs you to buy and install spyware software, THAT is spyware. You should ignore unsolicited 'suggestions' to scan or repair your computer.

ASmallOrange is really good for a startup forum. I used to use them before moving to a VPS and then to a dedi box.
