I don't know what it say, but high contrast styles are becoming more appealing to me.
Only thing is the side column is too long for me.

Please have a look through the sites nominated and second mine if you think it deserves it.
If I don't get in first to second, I'll at least vote for you. Great job, charlesr (& co.).

Very nice use of the CMS indeed, definitely one to add to the list of responses for "show me a good CMS" threads!

But genuinely nice style overall throughout the forum as well. Easy on the eye, smart colours, smart font that is still easy to read yet distinguishes itself nicely from all the other vB boards out there. Still manages to look distinctive throughout, while maintaining vB's familiar feel. Very nice work that one.

Thanks dude. I tried previously as a .jpg and it looked dire due to the reduction in edge quality around the logo. It's one of the features of the site - the banner image relates to the latest review. However, I've just tried as a gif and that reduces down to <70k and still looks sharp. Cheers.

Excellent job. One of the best examples of vB4 I've seen yet. That is definitely a vB showcase site.

Unfortunately, after several threads and many years, I have seen only a few beautiful examples of the CMS. And those were severely hacked. For the rest its either the standard installation of the CMS or/and sites move on to another solution soon after.

While your site looks good, I think the purpose of this thread is to highlight sites that are putting the vB Suite's CMS to good effect.
