1. If I buy a liscense, how long will that be valid?

2. What is os special about vBulletin where everybody has it. It doesn't seem any better than the free forums like PHPBB.

1) It will be valid until vbulletin 5 - although you'll still be able to run vb4 forever.

2) Nothing really. It's just another forum.....

Yes,for version 4.x
For version 5.x you have to pay full price again.
