  • Is this possible?

I have a plan to make forum for all the towns around me. Just a group for people to talk about the town, chat, sell or buy things, find out whats going on, news, etc. So say I get about 5 domains and start making 5 small discussion forums. I also want to make a large forum for the whole area itself that contains subforums for these smaller towns.

Now my question is, is it possible to synchronize the smaller forums with the larger one. For example, a post made on smalltownforum.com would show up on theareaforum.com under that small town category, and vice versa. I'm thinking this can be accomplished by rss feeds, but im not sure how it would work out with all the posts and replys. Anyone have any experience with this?

There is a mod on vb.org that will allow you to have separate domains with different forums but all share one database. That may be what you are looking for. You will need to have a separate license for each domain. vB 3.8 - 4.0 vB Facades: Different, multiple forums running off 1 vB installation

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
