Hmmm, you'll have much better results and much less hassles by going with a webhost that supports "real" PHP ...

The last time I tried vBulletin...

...was about 8 months ago, and I really liked it, but my web hosting service had PHP setup as a binary file in the cgi-bin. For some reason, the address in the browser's address bar would always show up with the \cgi-bin\ included in the address. I really didn't want that to happen, but wanted it to appear the way it does here on the vbulletin website. I never could get around the problem, so I kept using UBB.

My web host has now upgraded PHP to version 4.06, but it's still a binary file in the cgi-bin rather than an apache module. If I install vbulletin again, will I still have the same problem? Or is there a fix for that problem now?

I'm hoping for some good news, because I do like the features and speed offered by vBulletin.

Thanks in advance for your help.
