Install stuck on step 7

Anyone know why my install will not make it past step 7? I had the same problem with beta 3, and now on beta 4. It just says Please wait. then the page fully loads, and nothing happens. I let it sit there for a long time, so if it was going to do something it would have by now.

Please help!

ALSO: I'm trying to install the CMS not just the VB

I had an issue on my install when installing the CMS, which i think was around step 7 of the final upgrade, which was caused by an incorrect PHP version, check that your server meets the requirements of vB 4.0.

Not sure how to check the requirements. My hosting is through godaddy, i'm sure I have what vb4 needs. I've tried making a mysql with version 4.1 and 5.0 it makes no difference i dont know what else to try

Ive actually read around and see that godaddy hosting isnt great for vbulletin. Can any one recommend a good hosting site?
