    Can I install the BETA version of Publishing Suite now?

    Hello,
    I am starting a forum and have installed the Beta 4 version of VB 4.0, just to see what's different from the last version. I must say so far I like it alot. I won't be opening the forum though until a stable version is released... obviously.
    I was wondering is it possible to install an unstable version of Publishing Suite now also?
    Thanks for any help.

    Nevermind. Just realised I can.
    Is there a way to install the Publishing Suite on my index page?
    The URL is southamptoncommunity.co.uk, which is where I want the CMS to be.
    But at the moment it's southamptoncommunity.co.uk/content.php.
    Any way of changing this?
    Thanks.

      Look in the index.php file and uncomment line for either forum.php or content.php and it will show up.

        Code:
        // Note: Only uncomment one of these!

        // Use the CMS as the default script
        require('content.php');

        // Use the forum as the default script
        //require('forum.php');
        I don't understand what "uncomment" means? What am I supposed to do?
        Sorry to be dumb but I'm not too good when it comes to editing the vB files.

          Just delete the // before require.

          In this case require('content.php'); is 'active' so the CMS shows up on index.

            So if I remove the // where it says
            Code:
            // Use the CMS as the default script
            require('content.php');
            Then the CMS/Pubslishing Suite/whatever it's called will be found on the homepage (www.southamptoncommunity.co.uk)?

            Thank you.

              I just tried the above, and it didn't work. All it did was remove my forum.
