A little confused

Hi I'm a little bit confused about the pricing. I currently have a vB 3.x owned licence and what i want to know is how much is it going to cost me to upgrade to the version 4 could someone please say here all possible options for me

If you have a license I think it's free upgrade to VB 4 forum only, then if you want blog and CMS you need to buy the suite package... Prices are here..

I think its a free upgrade to forum only, if your license are active.

The upgrade is NOT free, it's $175 when your license expires, the only free part, is you can get the updates for vb4 until your license for v3 expires, but after that, you will have to pay $175 to upgrade (not the $40 you used to pay)

thank you all for the information so i only need pay if i require further updates?? if i stay with v3.8 i'm ok? i don't want any trouble with piracy and i cant afford to upgrade right now

If you are going to stay with 3.8 then you don't need to upgrade - if in the future you want to change to 4.1, 4.7 etc you need to purchase the upgraded license as long as your current license is an owned one, if it is a leased one then you need to upgrade or find other forum software.
