A completely new customer buy now, and get what?

Hi,

A completely new Vbulletin customer here, and never purchased Vbulletin ever before. A few questions to the Vbulletin staff or anyone who has the knowledge of these please:

1. If I purchase now, do I get the old 3.8.x Vbulletin forum while waiting for the Vb 4.0 to be released? Or do I actually get nothing and will have to wait until VB4 comes out?
2. Will there be a function/feature in VB4 which enable us to upgrade to VB4 from VB3.x.x with a few mouse clicks?

vB4 licenses get access to vB 3.8.4. Upgrading from vB3 to vB4 will be trivial - just note that not all plugins for 3.8 will work and styles will need to be redone from scratch.

Ah, that's really a good thing to hear.
That would give us some time to create the forums and populate the forums with some topics and stuff while waiting for the Vb4.

So maybe its better to wait for 4 but in the download section it says 4.
