The upgrade experience - how was it

So how much effort was involved moving from 3.8 to 4.0?

• Have you got it nearly fool proof?
• Any issues or problems?
• Was is at easy as doing a regular upgrade like from 3.8.1 to 3.8.2?
• How much time was involved in the upgrade?

vB 4.0 uses the same simple upgrade process; depending on he the post table size it should be fairly quick. The complexity in the upgrade process for vBulletin 4 is the new CSS friendly templating system; if you have a custom template - it will most likely not work.
