    It would be nice to have the option to remove part of the Powered by vBulletin™ Version 4.0.0 Beta 1I don't want to remove it all just Version 4.x.x

    The reason why is if there are any exploits discovered a hacker could just search for "Powered by vBulletin™ Version 4.0.0" or what ever version number they want to find and start causing problems, or if not remove all of it at least the last 2 numbers.

    My forum has been hacked before and they found it in this way it wasn't a problem with vbulletin but a 3rd party plugin, but it could happen.

    I know I can pay to remove the branding but that's not what I'm asking, I'm not bothered about having the powered by at the bottom just the version number.
