  • Threads <-> Blogs <-> CMS

    I had the old Blog software.... it was poor. The new blog looks to be better.

    However I am stuck with a forum section that is where people update their project blogs via traditional threads.

    I saw that you can have some lateral movement between Threads and CMS, but what about blogs?

    Thanks,
    Frank

    There is a setting for this in the Admin CP:

    Blog this Post
    Enabling this option will add an icon to the display of forum posts that will allow the user to copy the content of the post to the content of a new blog entry. The user will be able to modify the entry and will still need to submit it.
    Any reason this is in Pre-sales?

      Can CMS content be moved into the forums as a thread or post?
      Can blog entries be converted into posts/threads?
      Regards,
      Nick

          This sounds a bit promising.

          I asked it here because I haven't bought the new version yet.

          widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
