Bought VBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite Almost 48 Hours Ago Still No Software

I guess I picked an awful time to pony up nearly $250 for VBulletin. I bought the full publishing suite early yesterday, I received an order confirmation with my customer number which directed me to the VBulletin Members Area where I assume I should be able to download the software and apply my license key.

Problem is VBulletin is not accepting my customer ID/Password combo. I do a password reset and I never get the email from VBulletin with the new password.

I have gotten plenty of other emails from VBulletin, they are not going in my spam bin, and yet here it is nearly 48 hours and I still do not have access. This is shaping up to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

Update - I finally got one of the password reset emails from VBulletin, and when I click on the URL embedded in the email to initiate the password reset procedure I am greeted with the following message.
"The details submitted did not match any records in our database." Awesome....

You have to wait. Just like everyone else has to do. This is the beta version. Give them time to get it to you.

Just an FYI, you pre-ordered, who the heck knows when 4 gold will be out...We heard dates a while back and those blew by, then more dates blew by, you may get to download it by Christmas...I for one would like to hear what QUARTER we can get it. I have a site I want to upgrade from phpbb2 and a license that may be worthless by the time they finally roll it out!

Be patient, there are probobly 50 thousand jelsoft customers in the same shoes we are...

I assume your log in is on a new system, let them work out the bugs on it.

Not many helpful responses in this thread. The OP is having issues logging in to the member's area, where he should then be allowed to download the current release (3.8.4). Note that vB3 IS still the latest release, as the vB4 sale is a pre-sale.

If you are still unable to get access to the member's area, I'd recommend sending an e-mail to [email protected]. They will be more than happy to assist you in private.

Yes, he would. vB4 licenses have access to vB3.6 - the latest vB3.8 release.

during normal times it takes up to 48 hours MAX to be able to log into the members section but seeing they are working hard on bug fixes it COULD take longer.

also corey you do not want to post your customer number in public areas it opens your account to hackers.

I'm having the same issue, glad to see I'm not the only one. I'll stop worrying now that I see is a bug, or overload.

We were having some problems with our email server, so some emails were delayed. Because the password request link in your email is only valid for 24 hours this might have caused some problems.
Please request a new password from http://vbulletin.com/go/lostpw again. You should receive an email with a link, clicking on that should send you another email with your new password.
If you're having problems with that please open a ticket by sending an email to [email protected]
