My forums currently reside in the root directory. When the suite becomes available are the particular products going to have to be in certain directories? (ie blogs in /blogs, forums in /forums, cms in root, etc)

It was already answered. Read below.

That is without any SEO on it. Everything gets installed in the same directory so everything will be a subset of whatever directory you install it to. Using the SEO URL which are very relevant to your original question will allow you to alter how the URLs look to fit your needs.

So, basically, we can't install CMS on www.domain1.com and install forum in www.domain1.com/forum ?
Or my perferred location: www.domainX.com and forum.domainX.com ?

Your question is different, but I would like to know the answer - can we install them in separate directories. I'd love for that to be a possibility.Regards,
Nick

Wouldn't want to lose my search engine crawls. Equally, I don't want my blogs and cms content to show up in the forum directory.Pleased Sheep Films - Independent Filmmakers

I have Cpanel, so adding a domain creates a directory. Adding a Sub Domain (as I have asked) creates a directory, or you can get it to work with that directory. However, when I place my VB4 Suite into the directory, I want to know how I can get CMS to install into the directory I want it to be in. AND I want to be able to install the forums in the directory of my choice, with the option of pointing where my domains are read from.
When you installed VBulletin, it asks you where your forum is "located" mine is set at http://boards.carlosx360.me but my mainpage is set at www.carlosx360.com according to what I have on my vbulletin instance. Now my QUESTION is can I have vbulletin "read" cms AS site, rather than from the same root as forums.
My plan at this point is to have CMS at www.carlosx360.com and forums to be located at http://boards.carlosx360.me
