  • vB 4 License Terms

Are the new license terms made available to us at the time of purchase (i.e., can we review it before we purchase?), or is that not available until we actually download vB 4?
    Regards,
    Nick

Subsequent payments for upgrades or new add-ons may include new or modified terms in the license agreement, but its not likely that the terms of the license agreement can be changed by Jelsoft unilaterally at any time after the transaction.

However, nothing stops a company from treating you or I in a manner that is against the law until we assert our rights. More existing and potential future customers should express their dissatisfaction with open ended terms that grossly favor the licensor like they do in this instance. If they did, I'd imagine that Jelsoft would be compelled to revist the agreement and modify the terms to be more reasonable.
